Slow Cooker Creamy Sausage Tortellini

When life gets extra busy, I pull out my slow cooker to help get fresh meals on the table at dinner time. This recipe has everything you need for a balanced meal that the whole family will love!
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen cheese tortellini
1 small bag  fresh baby spinach
2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes, un-drained
2 cans chicken broth
1 block cream cheese, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 lb. Italian sausage (I used turkey sausage)
Directions:
  • Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, until cooked through. Break up into pieces as you stir. Drain.
  • Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Stir 2 times during cooking.
  • Cook on low for 5 hrs. (Don’t over cook or pasta will get mushy.)
