OK, I’m pretty sure you’ve got one buried in a pantry somewhere. I highly suggest digging it out and putting it to good use. And if you don’t have one, I suggest adding it to your kitchen supplies. The Salad Spinner is the quickest, easiest way to dry your lettuce leaves before adding salad dressing. And that’s what you want in order for dressing to evenly coat your salad–dry lettuce leaves. If your leaves are wet, the salad gets watery and limp. Yuck! So wash your lettuce pieces well in cold water, toss them into the Spinner, and “spin” it several times until all excess water is gone. A much better salad awaits you!
