My son and I enjoy a smoothie almost every day as a snack. They’re so easy to make and so good for you! I use my hand-held blender for quick clean-up. Have fun with different fruit and drinkable yogurt combos. This smoothie is made with mango, banana, pineapple, and vanilla drinkable yogurt–my favorite! But I also like mixed berries with drinkable strawberry yogurt. (A note on drinkable yogurt–it’s very popular and readily available in Europe. I think you can find it in the States at health food stores, like Whole Foods. Worth the trip to find it, in my opinion!)
Ingredients:
1 cup diced frozen fruit, flavors of your choice
1/2 cup drinkable yogurt, flavor of your choice
Splash of apple juice (optional)
Directions:
- Place diced frozen fruit and drinkable yogurt into blender or hand-held blender container.
- Blend together until desired consistency (add splash of apple juice for smoother consistency).
- Serve immediately.
