Sticky Baked Chicken Legs

Chicken legs are cheap, easy, and for some reason kids seem to love them. Hence this new recipe! Thanks to Food.com for a scrumptious way to bake up boring chicken legs. Plus I love all food that’s sticky 🙂

Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs. chicken legs
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons ketchup
3/4 cup honey
3 garlic cloves, minced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place chicken in a 9×13 glass baking dish.
  • Mix together olive oil, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Pour evenly over chicken.
  • Bake 52 minutes, basting every 20 minutes.
  • Then raise oven temp to 375 degrees F. for 10 minutes.
  • Sauce will be slightly thin, but chicken will be caramelized.
  • Serve sauce over chicken and side dish of your choice (rice, or potatoes would be good!)
